Kris Collins walked into her first vinyasa class 20 years ago and has never looked back. She credits yoga with helping her manage anxiety and persistent joint pain. Kris’ yoga practice helps her to remain grounded and centered during challenging times. Her practice “off the mat” is what brings her to the mat daily. She completed her RYT-200 hour training in 2020 and has been teaching consistently for three years.
Kris teaches Vinyasa Flow, Slow Flow, Yoga Strength, and Yoga Nidra. Kris helps her students find balance, flexibility, and strength with her thoughtfully planned classes that are playful and fun!
When not practicing or teaching yoga, Kris is a behavior specialist who works with students with disabilities; she uses her knowledge of yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and breathing to help her students manage their trauma and anxiety during times of stress. Kris enjoys spending time with her amazing husband, two beautiful sons and dogs, outdoor activities, reading, traveling, and learning new things.
