River & Stone Yoga Institute

Our Mission

The River & Stone Yoga Institute (RSYI) is a center for yoga education and embodied study, created for dedicated practitioners and yoga teachers seeking depth beyond traditional studio classes.

Founded in 2026, RSYI offers high-quality educational experiences that honor yoga as a holistic, living practice. Our programs move beyond physical asana alone, integrating study and practice across the Eight Limbs of Yoga, with an emphasis on embodiment, inquiry, integrity, and real-life application.

The Institute exists to support meaningful, sustainable engagement with yoga, rooted in wisdom traditions, informed by modern understanding, and accessible to contemporary practitioners.

Our Approach

At River & Stone Yoga Institute, yoga is approached as a practice of relationship—with the body, breath, mind, community, and the world we live in.

Our offerings are designed to:

  • Invite dedicated practitioners into deeper study of yoga philosophy and practice

  • Support yoga teachers seeking continuing education, mentorship, and inspiration

  • Bridge ancient teachings with modern lived experience

  • Encourage thoughtful, ethical engagement with yoga’s cultural roots

Programs are offered through workshops, intensives, small-group cohorts, and virtual trainings, creating multiple entry points for study while honoring different learning styles and life circumstances.

River & Stone Yoga Institute Offerings

Year of Study & Monthly Workshops

The Schools of Study frame a year-long series of monthly workshops, which may be attended as individual drop-ins or as part of a comprehensive Year of Study.

The Year of Study is a small-group cohort experience (a modern sangha) that commits to intentional, collective learning across the year. This structure supports continuity, community, and integration, allowing depth to build over time.

All workshops are offered in-studio and virtually and qualify for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education.
