Sarah received her 200-hour YTT in 2021 and has been teaching ever since. In 2015 Sarah ended up going with her friend to an impromptu class not knowing the impact it would have on her. Since her first yoga class she was hooked and wanted to learn more about the philosophical and anatomical parts of yoga. She practices yoga to help support her in body in strength training and different sports, such as field hockey and rock climbing. Yoga also has made a significant impact on helping her find clarity and ease through different challenges she has faced.
After 2021, Sarah shifted her career in teaching and went into the health and wellness field. She started studying with Jules Mitchell, worked as a physical therapy aide, and also received her ACSM personal training certificate.
Sarah’s goal in yoga is to help guide people in experiencing the fullness of the practice which encompasses mind, body, and soul. Her classes are designed to set up for an environment that is inclusive, safe, and calm so people can explore not only different asanas, but develop a mindfulness practice to better understand thoughts, feelings, or emotions. Her hope is people can walk away from class feeling more connected to themselves, more at ease with the challenges they could be faced with, and to find peace with their journey in this world.
When Sarah is not on her mat you can find her rock climbing, hiking, reading, spending time with family and friends as well as watching the Patriots play.
