Join Ray Mucci and Meng Le for a five-hour assisting training focused on intentional, consent-based physical touch in yoga spaces. This workshop emphasizes safe, supportive assisting techniques with ample time for hands-on practice.
Alongside technique, we’ll explore grounding practices, key anatomical concepts, common fears around assisting, and the benefits of skillful touch.
Thoughtful assisting can deepen connection and support a student’s experience of practice. This training is designed to help you feel confident, attuned, and respectful when offering hands-on support.
Whether you’re new to teaching, returning to assisting after time away, or refining your approach, this workshop offers a grounded way to reconnect with the art of supporting students safely and skillfully.
This training may also serve as a first step in becoming Practice Support, a new studio role coming to River & Stone in Fall 2026. Practice Support assists studio classes through optional, gentle hands-on support under the guidance of the lead teacher.
