Ellery has over 15 years of dedicated yoga practice and more than 500 hours of formal training. Drawing inspiration from teachers in both the East and West, her teaching blends mindfulness, yoga philosophy, and intentional movement with thoughtful stillness.
As a yoga teacher and educator, Ellery is committed to inclusivity, accessibility, and student agency. She offers clear guidance and supportive options so practitioners - whether new to yoga, recovering from injury, or navigating change, can make choices that honor their own bodies and lived experience. Her classes emphasize embodiment, curiosity, and cultivating trust in the felt sense.
Ellery serves as faculty for 200-hour teacher trainings and leads continuing education programs rooted in intelligent sequencing, embodied practice, and yogic history and philosophy. She completed her 200-hour training at Kripalu and her 300-hour advanced training with Theresa Murphy and Cindy Boulter, with additional studies in Yin and Prenatal Yoga. She is an E-RYT 200 and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP).
Her offerings span Kripalu, Vinyasa, Slow Flow, Gentle, Restorative, Yin, and Prenatal Yoga. Ellery views yoga as a sacred space for self-inquiry and connection, and feels deeply honored to share in this ancient tradition - supporting students in uncovering their own innate wisdom.
