Kat (IG: @yoga_w_kat) is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance with advanced training in Trauma Centered Yoga + Meditation, and Yoga Therapy for Managing the Stress Response through Yoga International. Her teaching honors yoga’s ancient wisdom while thoughtfully integrating modern neuroscience and stress physiology. Her classes weave together practices that support nervous system regulation, resilience, and inner balance.
As a devoted student of yoga for over 20 years, she approaches yoga as a holistic path; one that extends beyond physical postures into mindful living, self-inquiry, and spiritual connection. Kat firmly believes there is something in yoga for everyone and that yoga is, at its core, a lifelong practice. The wisdom it offers is both physical and philosophical, with teachings that are meant to be explored and applied both on and off the mat.
Kat teaches with a trauma-informed, supportive, and grounding presence, creating spaces where students feel empowered and safe to meet themselves where they are. She is also a Certified Reflexologist and Reiki II Practitioner, which informs her intuitive, nervous-system-aware approach to teaching.
